Laser Safety Precaution
Safety precautions must be followed when using all of our laser products (referred as Lasers). Never shine a laser at anyone. Lasers are designed to illustrate inanimate objects. The beam should never be allowed to enter the eye. Although instant permanent blindness will not occur with a momentary, glancing exposure, visual damage could occur if the beam is allowed to enter the eye and fall upon the same area of the retina for more than about 1/4 second. This is an unlikely occurrence, given the aversion and blink reflex, however, all precautions should always be followed to avoid direct eye exposure.

HOTECH shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, loss, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the purchase, use, misuse, or performance of any product and Lasers.

Lasers should never be pointed at vehicles, boats, or aircraft, even distant ones, unless under any emergency situation.

Precautions for Astronomers
When others are observing, Lasers should only be used with permission.  Lasers should not be pointed at nearby reflective objects because the brilliant reflections will temporarily destroy dark adapted vision. The beam in air does not noticeably effect dark adaptation.

Lasers should not be used when others are imaging, as a sweep of the beam through the imaged field might register in the exposure. To insure that the previous precautions are followed, do not allow minors to use the Laser unsupervised. Laser devices are not toys.

Product Warranty
Lasers are warranted against defects in material and workmanship one year from the date of invoice. Damage due to accident, alteration, misuse or abuse or damage resulting from repair by unauthorized parties is not covered. Any disassembling of the Lasers will void the warranty. Do not expose the Lasers in any dirty, dusty, or wet environment. Do not submerge the Lasers in the water. Exposure to extreme dirt and moisture may cause bad connection and disabling the flashlight and damaging the laser optics thus void the warranty. Drop or hard bump the unit may cause damage to the unit thus voids the warranty. Please consult with our technical support personal for any problems you might have at info@hotechusa.com.

We will repair or replace the unit within the above warranty.  For the unit out of warranty coverage or damaged by the user, please contact us for the estimate of the repair or replacement cost.

Please contact us for the RMA number, the "Return Merchandise Authorization" number, before returning the product for repair or replacement.  When returning product, we strongly recommend the use of a carrier that can track packages. You are responsible for any freight and insurance charge while shipping us the returned item.  HOTECH will not be responsible for any shipping loss from your side.

Return and Refund Policy
All returns must be within 30 days from the invoice date. The return product for refund must be in original conditions and accompanied by the original invoice, packaging and proof of purchase. Return after 14 days from the invoice date may be subject up to a 15% restocking fee.  No return will be accepted after 30 days from the invoice date.  For purchases through our dealers, please contact them for their terms and conditions.  

The buyer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance on any product returned for a refund. HOTECH will not take any responsibility for damage or loss incurred during return shipping. Original shipping charges, customs duties, exchange rate differences or any credit card transaction fees are not refundable.  Please contact us for the RMA number, the "Return Merchandise Authorization" number, before returning the product.
 
Shipping Policy
Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If you order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages each show a status of "delivered", HOTECH is not responsible for the package where about beyond this point . If you require further assistance, please contact our customer service.
 
Changes in Terms and Conditions
HOTECH reserves the right to change these terms and conditions, product specifications or to discontinue any product without prior notice.
 
In case of discordance between these terms and conditions and what stated elsewhere, the most recent will apply. This does not affect your warranty rights.
